-Digital Windows-
A closer
look

The pupose of Digital Windows is to provide the viewer with an expierence where they exsist within the digital and physical worlds at the same time. The enviorment in which the viewer is standing will be influnced through the eve of the machine, and provide a unique artistic perspective of their current surroundings. The process involves a QR code placed in a shadow box, and left in a mysterious but easily found location in real life. Once scanned with a phone the viewer is taken to a specfically deisgned webpage where they are met with my interpretation of a specfic spot/space. The website also provides further information, as well as questions to ponder on relating to the intent of the work itself.

Step 1

I as the artist scout a location that I like, and feel has the potential to offer some form of digital recreation meant to convey a sefic message or explore a key theme/idea.

Step 2

I then photograph the area very well and take it back to modified digitally using a variety of software depednign on the situation.

Step 3

I proceed to upload those photos to my website on the ARTALTAR.ART website where I can create a QR code for a specfic page

Step 4

The final step includes placing the QR code in the shadow box, and returning to the original location for placement. I then wait for people to enjoy some art!
